Experience Details
How is my pairing done?
During reservation we ask you a few questions that help us customize your group pairing and match you with like- minded individuals. We will do our best to accommodate your requests. Solo travelers are welcome and will be paired with other guests who share similar interests. In addition to this, our concierges will be available through the duration of the trip to facilitate communication amongst our guests.
What does a private concierge mean?
A private concierge is a unique concept of our Elite Escape experience. While most yacht experiences have captains and mariners our private concierge is at your service for any questions, concerns, requests. If you need something before or during the experience the concierge will do everything possible to accommodate the request.
Are the drinks and food unlimited?
No, we offer a welcome drink, limited number of nonalcoholic and alcoholic beverages (beer) and gourmet snacks offers throughout the experience. If you have special dietary needs or request, please let your concierge know before the trip so we can try to accommodate them.
Can I bring my own food?
No, outside food is not allowed on board. However, during your stop at Isla Mujeres, you’ll have the opportunity to explore local restaurants and purchase food or snacks if desired.
Two meeting points, where am I meeting?
Your confirmation email shows two meeting points. These are the marinas where our luxury yachts are located. Your concierge will send a reminder email the day before your experience confirming the meeting point. If you’ve opted for the transportation service, you don’t need to worry—we’ll have you covered.
Can I customize the route of the trip?
No, our excursions have been curated to maximize your time in the water and showcase the area's natural beauty.
Are children welcomed in these experiences?
Yes, children are welcome, and our group-matching team will do their best to pair you with other families with children. Please include children in your reservation to ensure proper accommodations, such as life jackets or seating.
What should I bring to the experience?
We recommend bringing the following:
Comfortable swimwear and a change of clothes
Sunscreen (reef-safe is preferred)
A hat and sunglasses for sun protection
Waterproof phone cases or cameras for capturing memories
Any personal medications or essentials you may need
Our team will provide towels, snorkeling gear, and floaties, so you don’t need to worry about those!
Is tipping expected?
Tipping is not required but is greatly appreciated. If you feel our crew has provided exceptional service, tips can be shared with them at the end of the experience.
Safety
Can someone refuse my participation on a Nomadi experience?
Although we strive to provide a seamless experience for all guests, you will not be welcomed aboard if you are under the influence of any substance and our crew considers that you pose a risk to the rest of our guests.
What if another person is acting inappropriately during the trip?
If during the experience unacceptable behavior is seen, we ask you to communicate it immediately to our crew. They have been trained to handle difficult situations and will assess the problem. This includes the possibility of returning to the marina and secure the safety of all guests.
Is smoking and vaping allowed?
No. Since this is a shared experience, smoking and vaping are not allowed. Additionally, we must protect the integrity of our boats. To prevent damages, these substances are prohibited on board.
Can I bring pets?
Although we love our furry friends, pets are not allowed on board.
What happens if I get sick on board?
If you feel unwell during the experience, please inform the crew or concierge immediately. We are trained to assist and will do our best to ensure your comfort and safety throughout the journey.
How is my data handled?
We value your privacy. Although this is a shared experience your personal details won’t be shared to other guests. Data provided during booking is handled through secure mechanisms. Essential information (i.e. email) will be used for communication purposes between Nomadi and you.
Reservations and Cancellations
What if I don’t want to cancel but need to reschedule?
We understand your plans can change. You can reschedule your experience at no cost if you notify us at least a week in advance. We will do our best to accommodate based on availability. Please email these requests to admin@nomadiexperience.com
What’s your cancellation policy?
You can cancel at any point. To receive a refund, cancellations must be made at least 25 days prior to your experience date.
When will I get my refund?
If your cancellation is eligible for a refund, you will receive a confirmation email. Refunds are processed within 10 business days of cancellation.
What If the climate doesn’t look good?
While we understand that most people prefer sunny days (which is most days in Cancun), we can’t control the weather. Our fleet is trained to assess safety based on local regulations. If the experience is deemed unsafe, you will be notified the day before. Should the experience need to be canceled, you will have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
Can I add more people after I book?
Yes, you can do this by creating a new reservation through our booking page. Then, add a note requesting the merge of the two reservations. Alternatively, after completing the booking, you can email admin@nomadiexperience.com to request the merge.
